What Kind of Cat Are You?

Are you a fat cat who lounges in the sun?
Or are you a fast cat who loves to play and run?
Are you a hunting cat, who catches all the mice?
Or are you more laid back and calm and nice?
Are you a cat that falls asleep atop the television set?
Or perhaps you would prefer to sleep atop your human’s bed.
Are you a cat who talks a lot, meowing for a treat?
Or are you a quiet cat who is aloof to those you meet?
What kind of cat are you?
Do you have a name?
Cats are as different as people.
None of them are the same.
What a special day.
Everybody came to the art workshop after school, had something to eat and prepared for the first performance ever! All the artists used their life size puppets representing cats. Parents sat on the tree stumps in my yard, got their cameras set up and waited patiently for the show. It was called “ What Kind of Cat Are You?” written by one of the young artist’s mom. After the performance we all walked to the local coffee shop and bakery “Café Source”. Everybody enjoyed seeing their art on walls. It was amazing. We had some chocolate cake too.
